Rider Application Form
Eligibility
There are eight spots available for riders. Each participant will have two 45-minute private sessions (one each on Friday and Saturday). All eligible applicants will be presented to the Symposium Selection Committee, who will make their selections based on the following criteria:

Rider must be a current AEF Member

Riders must be competing at Second level or higher in dressage.

Alternatively, riders may apply with a young horse aged 5 years or older, which has show experience.

Riders must submit a copy of a scorecard they received within the last year with the same horse rider combination as they are applying for.

FEI level horses and riders will be considered

The selection aims to include a diverse group of riders with varying skill levels and experience, showcasing the progression of dressage performance through different levels.

To ensure diversity, a maximum of two riders may be selected from the same coach or barn.
Fees
Rider fee - $200 plus GST and stabling at Kestrel Ridge Farm
​Includes two private lessons with Isobel Wessels October 4 and 5, lunch October 4, 5, and 6.
Selected riders will be required to ride as demo riders on October 6 - Symposium day
Fees will be applicable if selected. Selected riders will be notified by email and provided a Rider Package which will include the invoice for payment of fees.
Submissions and Selections
Please complete and submit the online form below by Sunday September 8, 11:59 pm. All eligible applicants will be presented to the Symposium Selection Committee, who will make their selection on the above criteria.
Applicants will be notified by email on Monday, September 16 of the selections.
